The Melissae


Melissa was the first priestess of Rhea: The goddess entrusted Melissa and her sister Amalthea with the upbringing of little Zeus while she hid him in the cave of Ida to protect him from Cronus.

This myth stems from the depths of time, the inseparable connection of bees with life and its preservation on the planet. Bees pollinate most crops, as well as natural fauna that prevent soil erosion and produce oxygen. Thus, they offer us food and breath.
